Anthony Joshua is the big favourite to win the 2017 BBC Sports Personality of the Year.

The British heavyweight delivered his most impressive performance to date as he beat Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley.

Lewis Hamilton is also in the mix after his latest F1 world title success.

When is it?

The 2017 ceremony will be held at the Liverpool Echo Arena on December 17.

How can I watch it?

You will be able to watch the developments live on BBC One from 6:45pm.
