Mexico President to visit San Luis, Mexico this weekend
SAN LUIS, Mexico (KYMA, KECY) - Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum is visiting San Luis, Mexico this weekend.
This is her first visit to San Luis since taking office.
She's taking part in a hospital groundbreaking, but some locals feel this shouldn't be the only matter she should be addressing during her visit.
They want her main focus to be about how she will tackle violence on the streets of san luis.
"The violence has slowed down but we still have it. We want her to fight all the violence here in San Luis," said Jesus Delgado, a San Luis, Mexico resident.
"We are not too good everyday there are deaths," said Carmen Valtierra, a San Luis, Mexico resident.
The visit is expected this coming Sunday.
