Torrential rainfall has caused rivers to overflow across Bosnia and Herzegovina. The city of Banja Luka was not spared, as the Vrbas River flooded surrounding areas, disrupting residents' daily activities.
According to local news portals, nine households in Prijecani have been cut off, and the Trnski Bridge is closed to traffic.
A similar situation is unfolding in Zaluzani, where the Dragocajka River has overflowed, causing significant issues. Additionally, a torrential stream in the Nenada Kostica street branch in this settlement has been raging since last night.
On this street, two houses have been completely cut off from the rest of the neighbourhood by the floodwaters.
Besides the mentioned areas, the settlements of Bronzani Majdan and Kmecani are already isolated from the city. Furthermore, there is a high risk of flooding in the Banja Luka neighbourhoods of Cesma, Zalužani, Priječani, the area around Trapista, and near Karanovca.
