URBANA, IL (Chambana Today) – Looking for a way to give back to the community? Join the Eastern Illinois Foodbank (EIF) on Tuesday, April 1, for Open Volunteer Hours at their Volunteer Center in Urbana. EIF offers flexible volunteer shifts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with each shift lasting an hour. Sign up for as many shifts as you like and help make a difference in your local community.

  • Location: 2405 N Shore Dr, Urbana

    • Look for the Volunteer Center street sign on the left side of North Shore Drive and park in the gravel lot. Enter through the north side of the building.

Important Guidelines:

While volunteering, please note the following restrictions on the volunteer center floor:

  • No dangling jewelry (earrings/necklaces)

  • No open-toed shoes

  • No tank tops

  • No phones

  • No food/beverages or gum
