67 illegal aliens have been caught and processed across the state

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA—The Florida Department of Law Enforcement, in coordination with federal, state, and local law enforcement partners, has continued its aggressive efforts to crack down on illegal immigration and criminal activity.
● Over the past two weeks, 67 illegal aliens have been caught and processed across the state during joint operations.
Snapshot of the Operations:
● Total Apprehensions: 67
Countries of Origin Include:
● Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Venezuela.
Criminal Backgrounds of Those Apprehended:
● 2 convicted of Murder/Homicide
● 6 convicted of Theft and Burglary
● 2 convicted of Sexual Battery and Child Molestation
● 6 convicted of Illegally Re-entering the U.S. after Removal
● 4 convicted of Resisting/Obstructing Law Enforcement
● 5 convicted of Drug Possession
● 6 convicted of Battery
● 6 convicted of Driving Under the Influence (DUI)
Gang Affiliations:
Four individuals apprehended were found to have suspected ties to criminal organizations:
● Russian Mafia (1)
● Tren de Aragua (2)
● Unidentified criminal organization (1)

Aliens were apprehended across six FDLE regions:
● PROC (Panhandle Region): 20
● TROC (Tallahassee Region): 12
● JROC (Jacksonville Region): 24
